Principle of Design

There are 5 principle of design :

1. Emphasis

2. Rhythm

3. Balance

4. Proportion

5. Balance

What is Emphasis?

Emphasis is catching the attention of viewer to the most important part of a display. The viewer must be the focal point in a majority of display.

What is Rhythm?

Rhythm is the elements are located so that the eye travels smoothly from one part to another, then flow, movement, or rhythm have been achieved. Rhythm can be achieved through various such as: Repetition, Continuous Line, Progression of size and Radiation.

What is Balance?

Balance is a sense of equilibrium that provides a feeling of stability. 

Balance is a state of equilibrium means the equality in weight, force and quantity.

There are 2 types of balance: Symmetrical and Asymmetrical

such as LG Floor,G Floor,1st Floor,

Balance In Visual Merchandising & Display

I feel romantic when I see this sunlight beyond the sky.

I have a meaningful life everyday.

Blue sky and light blue color sea water can make my mind in peaceful.

I can release stress when I walk along bridge and feel the sea wind.

It is so relaxing and refreshing.

Task B

It is so grand and luxury.

When I was step in...

I was attracted by the design of their building and make me feel so comfortable.

 

You will feel with curiosity and step down the stages to look forward that what are they showing.  

For the Chinese New Year every year,

they will decorate the Lower Ground Floor (Main Stage) according their main theme.Last year,2012 is the Dragon year.

 

Many tourists and customers will take photo shooting with the modal for their own memory.

City Campus

Lobby

This college is very unique is it because they have lobby.

This lobby had set by front desk for the marketing staff to attend students.

There are some tables and chairs for the students as well as 

visitors to sit down and discuss some certain topic.

Learning Resource Centre

"Knowledge is Power"

As a student, should always visit learning resource centre to gain knowledge.

Book Shelf

This book shelf consist a lot of business reference book.

Students will borrow the books when they need to do some assignment.

Trophy

All these trophies are received by BERJAYA UCH while some special event.

This is because they might sponsor some particular event.

For example: Nestle, Monin Cup, etc.

14th Floor BERJAYA UCH

The Upper East Side deli

There will be some breads, sandwiches and soups that prepared by chef. 

Most of the students and staffs will go there to buy some sandwiches as their lunch. 

The price of the food is reasonable.

Oenology Lab

For the students who are study Diploma In Hospitality Management 

and Bachelor In Hospitality Management, they will learn some basic 

skills that related bar and beverage included cocktail and mocktail.

Upper East Side Cafe

Students will trained by professional  to access customer when during their class.

Their practical class consist of the coffee training, 

cashiering, service, ordering and table setting skills.

Coffee Academic

Coffee academy teach the student the basic knowledge of coffee and tea. 

They also will be taught to brew coffee in a professional way. 

Student will be taught to use the machine to make different types

 of coffee according to the standard quality.

They also will be taught on the skills on making coffee art.

Culinary Studio

Allow chefs and students to work in and open space for the view of visitor.

It is also a place for chefs to demonstrate some certain dish to students.

Recruitment Fair

The presidents of clubs,societies and sports 

organized an event---Recruitment Fair which 

was held on 15th - 17th Jan 2013

(Tuesday - Thursday) 

within 3 days in the same week.

There are 12 clubs, societies and sports in 

BERJAYA UCH such as 

TAG club, Rock The Streetz, Event Club, 

Christian Fellowship, Photo Kaki Club, Leo Club,

 Monkey Diving Club, Sky Angel Club, Basketball Club, 

Badminton Club, Bowling Club and Foodoo's Club.

All the committees put many efforts on it to recruit the new student.
